Pinky French Friday

I am not going to France; I just have been keeping these images since the middle of the week thinking this glamorousness would only suit to Friday. Although its a doubt how one would survive the week in full glamour is unkown to me; but Friday sounds HEAVEN after a long week full of important decisions and early wake ups.

This week is the bank holiday, but won't do any effect on me since I'll be working (still you never know). But if I could, only if I could, Paris would be a great getaway. Hopefully some of you will do something woth telling later on. Have a great weekend!

Ladurée

I really had nothing for macaroons. In fact I thought they were nothing special until I had a French friend recently. We went to the luxury hall of a famous shop here to buy "Laduree" macaroons for her boyfriend's birthday. The shop was colorful, very pastel, just the way I like it. The French design and touch was very obvious in the shop. It had me when I stood there for couple of minutes. Then we left the shop. Couple of days passed. As I was walking down from the this luxury shop everyday, Laduree was always in my mind. Then when I got my paycheck I thougt it would be a treat. So I went into the shop and got 3 piece of macaroons in Chocolate(of course), Caramel and Raspberry flavours. It was in a very chic box (which is now a piece of decoration for my kitchen :)

Went home with this little box and had my first bite. It was heaven. I assure you I am not French or I don't work for Laduree. I am not advertising for them. But the taste was aamzing and I never had such a taste before. Now once in a while I go there to buy myself just one macaroon, if only I believe I deserve it :) So If you ever saw the shop, if you have a friend going to France or somewhere she/he can find Laduree, ask from them to bring you some macroons. Believe me, you'll love it!
